How these are made

Every pattern here is tied by hand, one at a time, on carbon-steel hooks, to a written spec we publish on the product page: the hook, the bead, the wing, the rib. Most flies sold online tell you none of that — the biggest name in the category describes its flies only as “imported”. We would rather tell you exactly how a fly is built, and who built it, and let you judge it on that.
