What we can make
If you have a pattern that works on your water — a local dressing, a guide's variant, something you have refined over years — we can tie it consistently and at volume. Send us a sample fly or a written dressing and we will tie a test dozen for you to approve before anything runs.
This is genuinely difficult for most sellers, because it requires tyers rather than a container of stock. It is straightforward for us.
Private label
- Your dressing, tied to your spec, with a test dozen approved before the run.
- Your name and logo on the box card, or on the box itself at higher volumes.
- A house selection curated for your water, sold under your brand.
- Consistent repeat runs, so the fly a customer buys next season matches the one they bought this season.
Minimums and process
Custom runs start at 10 dozen of a pattern. The process is: send the sample or dressing, we quote, we tie a test dozen, you approve or adjust, we run the order. Nothing goes into production before you have held the test dozen.
Branded packaging has its own minimum, which depends on the box and card supplier — we will quote it with the flies rather than surprising you later.
Why we can do this
Our production is a network of professional tyers rather than a factory line or a shipping container. Adding a pattern means writing a spec sheet and tying a test dozen, not retooling. That flexibility is the advantage of being the maker.
